Retro Diver

Retro Diver: A nostalgic Game Boy game where you dive into the ocean, catch fish, and sell them to upgrade your gear for deeper dives. With classic pixel art graphics and chiptune music, the game offers intuitive controls that make it easy to navigate underwater environments. Each dive lets you catch fish, which you can sell to purchase better equipment like a more advanced oxygen tank, speed boost, and color change. The game can be played directly in your web browser or downloaded as a ROM file to be played on a physical Game Boy using a flash cart. Developed using GB Studio for the 2024 Pixel Game Jam, Retro Diver invites you to explore the underwater world with each dive. Happy diving!

This is my first game and it was a solo-dev project. I missed the cut-off for the Jam by a few hours so I won't be getting much feedback. I thought I'd still upload the project regardless, thanks for playing!
